• "EVER" next-generation power supply system

There is a battery problem that is a major barrier to the spread of electric vehicles. We will propose "Via-Wheel Power Transfer (V-WPT)" as a breakthrough to solve this problem and aim to establish technology for power supply while driving.

  • Wireless power supply drone

Drones are expected to play an active role in various scenes on land, in the sea, and in the sky. However, current drones have the drawback of requiring manpower to charge or replace the battery, which is an obstacle to expanding the flight distance. Therefore, at our university, we received a commission from the Cabinet Office SIP Strategic Innovation Creation Program and started research on "wireless power supply drones".

  • High frequency Power Supply

High-frequency power supply are used not only in wireless power transmission, but also in a wide range of fields such as induction heating, plasma generation, and medical practice. We aim to create a perfect high frequency power supply that satisfies all of these requirements, including high frequency, high efficiency, high power output, and resistance to load fluctuations.

  • Exploring New Topologies of Oscillator Circuits

Oscillating circuits are the source of all radio waves, and there are countless possible topologies. We create original circuit configurations by making full use of active devices and lumped/distributed constant elements.

  • Secret key generation and sharing

A random key is shared with a remote party without being known by a third party, and the security of the key is guaranteed by the amount of information, using the complexity of the radio wave environment.

  • Radio waves direction detection/ESPAR antenna

By controlling the antenna directivity with a computer, the direction from which radio waves arrive can be estimated and the position of the other party can be detected. We will devise a method for homing from places where direct waves cannot reach due to obstacles, etc., and for estimating direction using reflected waves.
Also we will study ESPAR(Electronically Steerable Passive Array Radiator) antennas with size and radiation range as factors.
