Wireless power supply drone

Wireless power supply drone (Scene of measurement)

Drones are expected to play an active role in various scenes on land, in the sea, and in the sky. However, current drones have the drawback of requiring manpower to charge or replace the battery, which is an obstacle to expanding the flight distance.
Therefore, at our university, we received a commission from the Cabinet Office "SIP: Strategic Innovation Creation Program" and started research on "wireless power supply drones". The photo shows an experiment of installing an HF band power receiving system on a 2kW class drone.
Aiming for the social implementation of the drone "Touch & Go" by realizing an unmanned charging station.
